Holiday gifts are aid items in Fallout 76, introduced in the Nuclear Winter update. They are dropped by certain Scorched or crafted from gift wrap, both only available during the Festive Scorched community event.
Characteristics[]
A cardboard box covered with colorful wrapping paper and topped with a bow. When used, the player character will receive a number of items depending on the quality of the gift. Crafted variants have a higher chance of dropping rare rewards.
New variants of each type of holiday gift were introduced with the release of Steel Dawn. They feature an ever expanding rare item list and reward contextual ammo. Both sets of gifts have identical names and are visually indistinguishable from each other. As of Steel Dawn, neither set can be dropped, traded, or sold to vendors.

Locations[]
- Dropped by Holiday Scorched during the seasonal Holiday Scorched community event.
- Handmade gift variants can be crafted with gift wrap at a tinker's workbench.
- Low chance to be collected by a Santatron at a Santatron Collectron station while the Holiday Scorched community event is active.
Notes[]
- The Super Duper perk card will not affect crafting numbers.
- The Traveling Pharmacy perk card will not reduce the item's weight.
Changelog[]
- Prior to Update 19, the Chemist perk card would double the yield when crafting holiday gifts.
- Half of the taxidermy plans were left out of the new version of the gifts released in 2020 and were effectively legacy. These were later restored for the winter 2021 event.
