Hit the Deck is a perk in Fallout: New Vegas.

Taking this perk grants a temporary bonus of +25 to Damage Threshold against attacks using explosives (including those used by the player character themselves).
Notes[]
For a character that focuses on using explosives, especially if they take all 3 ranks of Demolition Expert as well as Splash Damage, this perk is one of the best to have as it ensures that one is at significantly less risk of being damaged by their own weaponry, e.g. fighting in close-quarters enclosed spaces with little room to get out of the blast radius.
Bugs[]
There is a display error with this perk. The +25DT will be shown in your PIP-Boy menu whenever you have an explosives-category weapon equipped. However, the added DT will correctly only apply against attacks from explosives-category weapons, regardless of what you have equipped. [verified]
