Hiroshima was a city in Japan.

Background

On August 6, 1945, the Little Boy nuclear bomb was deployed onto Hiroshima. This was the first time in history that a nuclear weapon was used for purposes of warfare.

Hiroshima is mentioned in the Citadel laboratory terminals, where it is said that Liberty Prime's presence on the Anchorage battlefield would have the same effect on the Chinese as the bombing of Hiroshima had on the Japanese.[1] Hiroshima is further mentioned in Fallout 4 during the intro, as the end of World War II.[2]

In the intro of Fallout Tactics, a fragment of Harry S. Truman his radio report to the American People on the Potsdam Conference[3] can be heard, where he says that The world will note that the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, a military base.[4]

Appearances

Japan is mentioned in Fallout 3, the intro of Fallout Tactics, and the intro of Fallout 4.
