The Hellstorm missile launcher is a ranged weapon in Fallout 76, introduced in the Steel Dawn update.

Background

A multi-purpose missile launcher, the Hellstorm missile launcher was one of many weapons recovered from a government facility encountered on the Brotherhood First Expeditionary Force's way to Appalachia.[2]

Characteristics

Able to fire four 66mm to six 58mm rockets of various payload types, the Hellstorm missile launcher functions in a similar manner to the missile launcher.

The weapon is unique in that it benefits from both explosive and heavy gun damage buffs, which apply to both the primary explosive (Attack) and optional elemental (Fire Energy Cryo) damage. Specifically, the Heavy Gunner perks apply to the direct impact damage (which is physical), and the Demolition Expert perk applies the secondary explosive damage. At level 50, both the impact damage and blast damage are a base of 120.

The Two-Shot legendary prefix modifies the physical part of the damage by splitting it into 2 shots that each deal 62.5% of base impact damage, but the explosive part of the damage is not reduced, and retains full base damage.

The right side of the standard launcher features a 7-kill tally and all variants include a painted Brotherhood of Steel emblem.
