The Harbormaster hotel is a location in the Commonwealth on the Boston Waterfront in 2287.
Layout
The Harbormaster Hotel is a very small area consisting of the main hotel lobby, room 61 on the 6th floor (all other rooms are blocked off) and the hotel roof guarded by some raiders.
Notable loot
- One overdue book in room 61 on the lap of the skeleton.
- X-cell on the roof, behind the counter.
Notes
After taking the elevator from the lobby, opposite the exit is an Advanced locked door. Behind this door is an unusual scene: the skeleton of someone sitting in a chair holding an overdue book, while surrounded by a Giddyup Buttercup wearing a bowler hat and "smoking" a cigar, a Jangles the Moon Monkey wearing a sea captain's hat and a teddy bear holding a baby rattle while inside of a plastic pumpkin perched on top of an overturned trashcan.
Appearances
The Harbormaster hotel appears only in Fallout 4.
Behind the scenes
- The location is the fictional counterpart of the real-world Boston Harbor Hotel, located on Rowe's Wharf.
- An unnamed test cell in the creation kit indicates that the Giddyup Buttercup in room 61, was at one point planned to have a lit cigar in its mouth. (Edit: The Giddyup Buttercup does indeed have a cigar in its mouth. Although it is not lit now, it still was lit at some point}
