The Harbor Grand Hotel is a location on the Island in 2287.
Background[]
Built before the Great War, the Harbor Grand Hotel was a luxury establishment that catered to the wealthy and prominent guests visiting Mount Desert Island. Those who stayed at the hotel included Arnold Wabash, captain of the American nuclear submarine USS Democracy, and his mistress Franny Richardson, who later shot and tortured him into giving her the nuclear codes for the submarine. He did, but before she escaped, he shot her dead before succumbing to his wounds.[1]
Layout[]
A hotel on the southern edge of the Island, overlooking cliffs that drop sharply to the water. It is inhabited by super mutants and mutant hounds.
Head past the pool to the planks overlooking the water, and turn to the right. There is a pipe that can be reached through a series of skilled jumps or by using a jetpack that contains the drain corpse note.

- Trailer key - On the road to the northeast, in an unmarked trapper outpost. Opens the trailer door at the outpost.

- Overdue book - On the boardwalk to the southeast, on the stairs under a destroyed picnic table.
Interior[]
- Safe room security tape - In the safe room terminal (only accessible during Best Left Forgotten).
- Ship's safe combination - Added to the player character's Pip-Boy after listening to the safe room security tape. Opens the safe on the sunken boat at Fringe Cove docks.
- To Franny holotape - In the safe room, next to the skeleton of Franny Richardson.
- Vault-Tec lunchbox - On the second floor, at the far end of the hallway in a drawer on the ground.

The hotel is likely a reference to the real-world Bar Harbor Grand Hotel. The in-game location shares the real-world hotel's distinctive architecture and swimming pool.

The location has not been named in the game files, and as such will show up as blank in radiant quest objectives.
