Template:Weapon H&K G11 is a small guns weapon in Fallout 2.
This gun revolutionized assault weapon design. The weapon fires a caseless cartridge consisting of a block of propellant with a bullet buried inside. The resultant weight and space savings allow this weapon to have a very high magazine capacity.
Using 4.7mm Caseless ammo, the H&K G11 is a weapon found in the mid-latter parts of Fallout 2. It can be found on Frog Morton, Felix, as a gift from Randal for completing Roger Westin's holodisk quest.
Although this gun is powerful, it is not as powerful as the H&K P90c during burst firing, because this SMG only fires 5 shots per burst. The H&K G11E is a much superior version, capable of doing more damage per bullet, longer range and fires 7 bullets per burst.
The real-world counterpart for the G11 was developed for the German Bundeswehr, but cancelled in the early nineties, because it was too expensive. The U.S. Army also tested the rifle, but rejected it after the Bundeswehr rejected it. Template:FO2 weapons
