Gunslinger is a perk in Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Fallout: The Roleplaying Game.
Overview[]
Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas[]
A single rank perk that grants 25% increased accuracy in V.A.T.S. for most ranged weapons held with one hand, primarily pistols, SMGs and sawed-off shotguns.
Fallout 4[]
The perk was expanded to five ranks and got completely overhauled. It now increases damage dealt by non-automatic pistols in V.A.T.S. by 20% for each rank, and no longer improves accuracy in V.A.T.S. Higher ranks grant additional benefits, such as expanded weapon range, a chance to disarm enemies or to cripple their limbs.
Fallout 76[]
Reduced to three ranks, the perk's general functionality is the same as in Fallout 4, despite some changes. Higher ranks no longer grant additional benefits other than increased damage. The granted bonus damage was heavily decreased, to only +20% with all three ranks, in order to create different tiers of this perk, namely Expert Gunslinger and Master Gunslinger.
Fallout: The Roleplaying Game[]
A perk with two ranks, it increases the weapon damage of one-handed ranged weapons, and allows to re-roll the hit location die.
