A perk with three ranks, increasing the damage dealt to secondary and tertiary targets in V.A.T.S. Subsequent ranks increase both the damage dealt and the number of affected enemies in a single V.A.T.S. session.

The perk's functionality was mostly retained, it still grants bonus damage in V.A.T.S. against targets other than the first, and upgraded extend the perk to more enemies. Given the online nature of the game, V.A.T.S. now switches automatically to the next target, once the initial target is killed, allowing to line up multiple kills in quick succession.

Fallout: The Roleplaying Game[]

The tabletop variant of the perk also has three ranks. It allows for additional AP and ammo to be spent by the player, in exchange for hitting additional targets for the same damage as the initial target.

Behind the scenes[]

  • The name of the perk is a portmanteau of the words gun and kung fu.
  • Gun fu, also known as gun kata, is a choreographed style often seen in action movies. It combines close-quarters gunfights with traditional martial arts, and focuses on artistic moves and creative use of firearms in melee combat.
