Guardian drones are alien robots encountered on board the Mothership Zeta.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Specifications[edit | edit source]

Guardian drones are a more advanced model of the support drone, and they are armed with a drone cannon. If the player character possesses the drone control device, they can be recruited as temporary followers, albeit only one at a time.

Gameplay attributes[edit | edit source]

Guardian drones are initially friendly; they will not attack the player unless attacked first.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Guardian drones are not very common until after the space walk.
  • The player character can shoot their hover platforms to temporarily disable their movement, as can be done to their counterparts.
  • It is possible to shoot off a guardian drone's cannon.
  • Like other robots in the Capital Wasteland, they can be deactivated if the player has the Robotics Expert perk.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Guardian drones appear only in the Fallout 3 add-on Mothership Zeta.
