The Grognak costume is a unique outfit in Fallout 4
Characteristics [ ] A recreation of the costume worn by the comic book character Grognak the Barbarian . Equipping the outfit grants a temporary 25% increase to damage dealt with melee weapons as well as a temporary +2 to Strength .
Modular armor pieces can still be equipped along with the outfit, though this only extends to leg and shoulder armor while equipping chest armor will unequip the outfit.
Locations [ ] The outfit is located at the Hubris Comics building in the Back Bay district of Boston in the Commonwealth , found on a shelf a few feet from the ladder exit in the top-floor studio, across from where the Silver Shroud costume is found.
Notes [ ] As shown by the page images above, the Grognak costume is one of the few outfits in the game that changes in appearance based on the wearer's sex: the male version features a loincloth while leaving the chest bare whereas the female version features a leather-made bra in addition to the loincloth.
