- Unlike in Fallout 4, there is no icon or sound effect when the perk activates, making it difficult to tell if it is functioning properly.
- When triggered, the amount of AP that actually gets restored is 999.
Behind the scenes[]
Grim Reaper's Sprint was originally a fan-created perk and winner of the Fallout 10th anniversary perk contest in 2007, submitted by Marc-Andre Deslongchamps. Bethesda implemented the perk in Fallout 3, describing the idea as "elegant and simple" while affecting game mechanics in a unique way.[1]
Bugs[]
Sometimes upon taking this perk, it will not restore AP. Instead, it just takes up a perk slot that could have otherwise been used on something else.[verified]
