Greg was a technician for RobCo Industries and a survivor of the Great War.
Background[]
Prior to the Great War, Greg worked for RobCo repairing Protectron units, performing onsite maintenance for corporate customers. After the war, he used his knowledge to refurbish a Protectron with broken leg servos he found in an old shopping center. He named it Clanks, glued a top hat on its head, and used it to carry his gear as he traveled.
Somewhere on the road in Virginia, he met Russell Dorsey. While camping one night, he showed Dorsey how he could command Clanks to sing and dance, and taught him how to hotwire Protectrons by jury-rigging their motherboards before they parted ways.[1]
