The Great Khan encampment is a place in the Mojave Wasteland.

The encampment is used to overlook Quarry Junction by the Great Khans.

It is located Southeast of the Makeshift Great Khan Camp and West of Quarry Junction. It is possible to avoid deathclaws and Cazadors altogether by getting there from the southwest: go around the radscorpion eggs site (from Bleed Me Dry),and follow the ridge to the Makeshift Great Khan Camp. Keep running along the ridge behind the scarecrow and jump upon the rockface. With proper crouching and timing, you can stick to the cliff on your right and reach it in one piece at (almost) any level.

Layout

There are two Makeshift beddings that can be used by the Courier. The camp is difficult to reach due to mountains surrounding every side of it. There are two ways to get there - the harder way is by clearing out the quarry of all of the Deathclaw. A large red crane next to the camp serves as a landmark. Alternatively, you can climb into the hills from the Makeshift Great Khan Camp or by heading due south from Bonnie Springs, and follow the the ridge to an opening on the west side of the quarry, encountering substantially less Deathclaw in the process. The easiest route is to head north from Goodsprings Cemetery to reach the Makeshift Great Khan Camp, and then go southeast to the gap in the mountains, using a stealthboy to get past the three Deathclaw. Alternatively, a more direct (and brutal) path lies south of Vault 19 that goes up a small canyon onto the deathclaw plateau, right under the pass upwards to the encampment.
