Taking this trait grants a benefit of a one-time increase of +5 to all social and utility skills (Barter, Medicine, Repair, Science, and Speech) and a penalty of a one-time decrease of -5 to all weapons skills (Energy Weapons, Explosives, Guns, Melee Weapons, and Unarmed).
Notes[]
As with previous games, choosing a weapon skill as one of the three Tag Skills during character creation largely negates a loss incurred by taking this trait.
