For the cost of one perk card slot, the healing benefits of canned dog food exceed the craftable healing salve (at base HP of 250) using rank 3 of the perk First Aid, while also restoring significant hunger (30%). It synergizes extremely well with the Cola Nut, or Bloodsucker perks.
