Gleaming Depths, also known as Raids: The Gleaming Depths,[1] is the upcoming twenty-first major update for Fallout 76. It is set to release in December 2024. It was preceded by Milepost Zero.
The update was teased by creative director Jonathan Rush at QuakeCon in August 2024, showing a teaser trailer featuring new ultracite-heavy locations, as well as fights against an emplaced sentry bot, mole miners and a new giant boss enemy resembling a cobra.[2]
In an interview at Gamescom 2024, Rush revealed more information about the update, including the fact that it would be focused on endgame raids, with four-star legendary gear as the rewards.[1][3]
