This quest is given by Ruby Nash. She is a kindly old sort, and if asked about what she cooks, she will reveal her signature dish, a radscorpion venom casserole.
If responded to favorably, she will ask how many radscorpion poison glands the player currently possesses. If there are none in the inventory, she will tell the player to come back after they have some.
When carrying radscorpion poison glands, Ruby will offer casseroles based on the number of glands in the inventory. Her dialogue choices when trading provide only the option to back out of the trade or give her "a bunch." She will always take five glands (the maximum number possible) in exchange for casseroles if the player has at least that many.
If five or less glands are in the inventory, she will exchange radscorpion glands for casseroles at a rate of one for one, three for three, five for five, and oddly, still five casseroles if only four glands are possessed. Additionally, she will not accept exactly two glands. However, this can be remedied by dropping one before initiating dialogue.
