Giese is a ghoul living in Los in 2208.
Background[]
In his past, he was a Vault-Tec robot engineer for the Corporate Vault, but when a conflict arose between the vault inhabitants, he became one of those who was left outside of the vault. Though he became a ghoul and lost his skin, he never lost his mind and is as sharp as ever. Although he does not have a mouth or teeth, he is able to speak, with a slight lisp and an English accent.
He is one of only a few ghouls who are not hostile to humans, unlike many others from Blake's fanatical cult, the Church of the Lost. He is able to fashion weapons from pieces of junk and knows the location of the Corporate Vault. The Initiate could find a total of four pieces of junk to bring to him. The best weapon he could make from junk is a super sledge.

- Find Old Junk: Four pieces of junk from three different parts of the Docks of Los have to be found and returned to Giese, so he make a super sledge out of it, albeit for a price.
- Find the Secret Vault: Giese admits he has more information about the vault and reveals it can be accessed inside a warehouse.
