Detailed walkthrough[]
This Gecko quest will activate after you bring Skeeter a super tool kit, but only if you are carrying at least one weapon that he can upgrade. He can upgrade weapons once for each time he has been brought a 3-step plasma transformer while an upgrade is not currently available. The quest need not be active for him to give you an upgrade.
There are three ways of obtaining 3-step plasma transformers, and you can get an upgrade for each one you bring to him.
- Give Jeremy, in the reactor, the part requisition form from Harold's house.
- Give Jeremy the form that Festus carries. If you ask Festus for it, you can make up any of four excuses and get it if you pass a Speech check or if he likes you; or steal it, or barter for it.
- Jeremy has the final 3-step plasma transformer in his inventory; it can be bartered for in some versions.
Asking Jeremy for a "moss covered three handled gredunza" redirects the conversation back to his list of things you want again.
Return to Skeeter and he'll give you 350 XP and a free weapon upgrade.
Notes[]
- The Chosen One must have at least one of these weapons to start the quest: Cattle prod, Desert Eagle .44, .44 Magnum revolver, hunting rifle, assault rifle or FN FAL.
- It is not necessary to have Get super repair kit for Skeeter quest completed. Bringing back the part is just required for Skeeter to acknowledge.
