Georgia was a child who inhabited the settler cottage and bunker before 2103.
Background[]
Georgia and her mother Madison took up residence at the settler cottage and bunker following the Great War. She was given chores such as picking berries, but often chose to ignore them in favor of playing with her teddy bears and setting up tea parties, calling one of them "Sergeant McAllan" and pretending to be a high-ranking military official, ignoring her mother's calls to return home.[1] However, Madison was extremely concerned about her daughter's safety, insisting that Georgia come inside from playing four times every hour,[2] and becoming terrified when she didn't return after just a few minutes. Madison feared that she was overworrying and wanted to give her daughter space, but was too concerned about her safety in the face of the wasteland's dangers.[3]
Their fates are ultimately unknown, as by 2103, the cottage and bunker's only inhabitant is a random settler engineer who has established a farm on the homestead.
Appearances[]
Georgia is mentioned only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wastelanders update.
Behind the scenes[]
| The following is based on Fallout 76 cut content. |
A cut quest simply known as "Cottage Bunker Quest" (W05_Community_CottageBunker_Quest_DoNotUse) would have given Georgia a much more significant role. Madison would have appeared as an actual character at the cottage and bunker, giving the quest to the player character and asking them to find Georgia and bring her home. From this point, one could encounter Georgia, who would ask for help in picking berries. At the end of the quest, it would have been up to the player character whether or not Georgia could continue playing outside. The options would have included convincing Madison that Georgia should have a proper childhood, or agreeing that she should stay inside, as it would be too dangerous for her outside.
