George Dalton[1] was Cassie Dalton's grandfather, living a quiet life on the Dalton farm on the northern edge of the Island.

George was a peaceful man, but stood his ground when it mattered. Even when a giant fog crawler came out of the mist to tear apart his farm, George refused to waver, but perished under the monster's claws. However, his death covered the escape of all his farm hands.[2]
