The Geiger counter is a Wattz Electronics C-Radz model Geiger counter. It detects the presence and strength of radiation fields.

A simple device manufactured by Wattz Electronics to detect the presence and strength of radiation fields, such as gamma radiation.[Non-game 1] Includes a carrying handle and a modern, durable shell for increased portability and ease of use.[1] Its battery life is displayed in the interface bar's ammo meter.

- One can be found in Vault City, in the lockers on the 3rd floor of Vault 8.
- New Reno - In the basement of New Reno Arms.
- One on a bookshelf at the NCR Bazaar, the NCR guard captain's office.
- Two in a locker in the trap room on the Enclave Oil Rig.

In Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, it is shown that the Pip-Boy 3000, the Pimp-Boy 3 Billion, the Pip-Boy 3000 Mark IV and the Pip-Boy 2000 Mark VI have a built-in Geiger counter.
