The gamma rounds closely resemble high voltage electrolytic capacitors in size and shape, three capacitors amount to a single gamma round. They are utilized by gamma guns and their variants.

- Crater house - A single round can be found on a table on the lower level near the Wasteland Survival Guide.
- The Nucleus - Two single rounds can be found on a table at Mai's store. Another four single rounds can be found on a metal shelf in the same area.
- The Prydwen - A single round can be found on a tray on the counter in the armory.
- Children of Atom carry this ammo type.
Bugs[]
Some gamma rounds may not stack together, despite being visually identical and of the same name. This is due to two identical items existing but with different item IDs.[verified]
