Can be installed on the Highwayman by Smitty for $750. Halves the rate of fuel consumption.
Location[]
The fuel cell regulator is found in an abandoned Highwayman in Trapper Town, Klamath. It is immediately visible when you enter the area, and has a distinct appearance that stands out from other wrecks. To reach it, you will need to navigate the rat caves.
Interact with the car wreck to retrieve the fuel cell regulator, and receive 200 XP.

It is possible to bypass the rat caves by simply clicking on the car or a cell next to it; the player character will run off screen and re-emerge from the other side.
