Alien Blaster has limited ammo, completely limited. Turning people into blue dust is nice, but having a weapon which has less than 300 shots in the entire game is just too annoying. Every time you think about using the Alien Blaster you wind up asking yourself, is this enemy worth one of those shots? In a contest without ammo considerations, the Alien blaster is preferable: a regular Gauss rifle can replace the YCS for most uses, while no energy weapon can approach the high-speed close-range killing ability of the Alien blaster - too bad ammo is a consideration.75.67.224.12 05:11, July 19, 2011 (UTC)
