Ok, is anyone else sick of almost every song on GNR? I know I'm sick of hearing 'Maybe' and 'I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire'. So here's my question, does anyone else want some sort of Music DLC pack? If so list some good 50's music. One I would love to see would be 'Dear Hearts and Gentle People' by Bob Crosby. I love that song, and it was in the trailer, but I was sad when it didn't make it to the game. Also I know that some has to do with licensing of the songs, but I'm just saying. True, Anything Goes by Cole Porter is from 1934 (I think). Thinking about it however, there's a lot of good music which would fit in pretty well with FO3, save for it being from the 50s and 60s. Download a few songs, put them on a USB harddrive or USB memory card or your ipod or mp3 player, connect it to xbox 360 then play them, easy as that, rather have them work on something else than bring us new music, don't even listen to GNR. 81.234.140.17 20:01, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

I do that all of the time. But having an ingame radio station is that much more satisfying. Fallout 3 makes radio signals drop volume when you talk to people, and Enclave Radio as well as GNR both have DJs to share a few words between songs. I can't complain, the radio stations of FO3 are epic, and the musical score is pretty damn good, but it gets old, which is what the original poster was saying. lol I just shot a Talon Company guy off of a catwalk at one of those Satcom arrays and he flailed and did a barrel roll down to the ground. Well, I like to listen to GNR occasionally if I'm alone, wandering the wasteland. Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't have an Xbox. Why do people assume that everyone on this wiki has a frickin' Xbox or PC. I think AngryNorwegianDude is the only one I know who also has the PS3 version! SuSpence95 20:16, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

I play on PS3,too.And If I could add on some music,I would be seeking inspiration from FO:BOS cuz they had all the ROCKING music.Here's my idea:Black Lightning Radio presented by some crazy ass raider.Yes,that's right:A heavy Metal Raider station with:

• Bulls on Parade-Killswitch Engaged
• Stricken
• Gaurded
• Down with the sickness-Disturbed
• Metalica
• Space Lord

It would be awesome if I was sneaking up on a raider camp which just happened to be blaring Ride the Lightning (by Metallica) and it's night time and they are all getting wasted, and I pick them off one by one and they can't hear me doing so. Pure epicness. Or a mission where you use any type of music to attract a large horde of feral ghouls so that you can safely get around them or escort someone around them to safety. How about some Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin for New Vegas, lol. Music is the thing that best conveys the time period. I would like, in a DLC or better for New Vegas, more radio stations than 2. Maybe one that is pre-war looped talk radio, a post-war Chinese Propaganda station, rockabilly, and jazz. Best yet, has anyone heard the Illinois Street Bar station on Soma FM? Magic Moments by Perry Como, on repeat, throughout the entire Tranquility Lane simulation. Also anything from the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas soundtrack, including the intros by Johnny Depp. And Louis Prima's Just a Gigolo. Bioshock's already laid claim to Beyond the Sea by Bobby Darin, but he's also got the best version of Mack the Knife, which fits Fallout better anyway. 'Dear Hearts and Gentle People', and 'A Kiss To Build A Dream On' are both awesome songs. My favorites on Fallout 3 are 'Way back Home','Maybe', and 'Butcher Pete'. kill the overseer!

For most video games I can't stand the music they use, it is played way to much so when I am bored I will pop in my ipod and play anything from Highway to Hell to Let the Bodies hit the floor

It would be fun if the super mutants got their hands on a radio station and started it up, would be funny as hell to listen to them gossip with one another over the radio. Now THAT I would listen to or a raider radio were you get to hear them acting out as cool-boy gangsters chatting with each other with their boasts and un-real stories. most of these ideas are epic, id prefer a music dlc that not only lets you get 40's 50's music, but also any music you want, like download any recent music too and the game would have some retro-epic versions of the original, eh? eh? also if u don't like my idea u can say so but don't got on some rant about how its not "realistic" its not "realistic" that 3-dog is even able to find his current music, i mean the only living violin was in a vault, was 3-dog a scavenger and found some stupid disks? maybe, but i still don't care, or maybe make a quest where you hunt down vinyl disks to give to 3-dog, maybe not new song but turn it into an adventure.Toolazytomakeaaccount 18:40, December 25, 2009 (UTC)

I'm about 90% sure that the super mutants controlled the area before 3-dog, and i doubt they'd keep the equipment in such good condition, nor the discs, everywhere they go they destroy, maybe he found some sound boards and etc but i severely doubt that he found intact discs in perfect condition in a POST NUCLEAR WASTELAND, its the same reason u cant find a decent working car or a decent working anything from post war America(yes i know i just threw it above a large spectrum and some items are found working condition) regardless my idea's are valid, hunting for discs for 3-dog and downloading new music he plays in retro-50's fashion wouldn't be a bad idea.Toolazytomakeaaccount 05:53, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
