So I got all DLC and started a new game to get to level 30 before starting any new stuff. But now, around level 29, none of the merchants are restocking anymore. I've played (not waited, played and traveled) for at least 8 in-game days, but still nothing. Is my game messed up or is there a way to fix this? What platform? Not even Gun Runners? It can look like some merchants are not restocking because they will often keep items you sold in their inventory. A way that sometimes gets some merchants to restock is to enter the store, Save, Quit & Reset, Continue (not Load). At one point Dale Barton did not restock until I finished a Legion quest. After all the Freeside quests were done, I never saw Mick restock. GRPeng 23:22, December 2, 2011 (UTC)
I'm on PC and they simply don't reset at all. Their caps don't change, they don't get any new ammo or gun mods, nothing happens. I waited 8 days (saturday to sunday a week later, should have 3 resets in it) and went to Goodsprings, Primm, Mojave Outpost, Novac, 188 and Vendortron, but none had restocked. 62.194.197.15 09:47, December 3, 2011 (UTC)
I would say to complete some quests and see what happens. I don't know enough about the scripting to suggest commands to force a merchant to restock. If that does not work, find an earlier save where everything was working and continue from there. GRPeng 20:00, December 3, 2011 (UTC)
This is a common glitch that’s been in the game from the beginning. The best way I found to deal with it is to stand right in front of the merchant, use the wait feature for 3 full 24 hour periods. Most merchants will reset after that.ReapTheChaos 13:10, December 14, 2011 (UTC)
