So, I have been looking over each companion in Fallout 4 and I have to admit; I like all of them. Even the ones I thought I was going to hate; I ended up loving/liking. I love X6 for his dialogue when he idolizes you, I love Cait's lil' comments she says now and then, I love Danse and how much he can take and dish out. Each one has a quirk to them; and I love them for it.... but - not everyone is perfect. Even if I just went and said; "I like them all" but it's true there are some companions who I think could have been better so... in my opinion here is my favorite companion and... least favorite.
Favorite; MacCreary. Now. We all know this lil' douche, am sure the guy who called us a mungo and we couldn't kill - unless mods - well he's back... and I will say, out of all the characters, in my opinion remember, he has the most heart in his story. Yes, he is a merc now and only cares for money and vengance - at first, but as you and him talk with each other, you discover he's changed. Alot. He got together with Lucy - and had a son. I thought, oh that's pretty cute... and then she died, and I kinda died a lil' inside... sure, she wasn't a big character, but still... it was really sudden and... unexpected. MacCreary goes from this Merc A-hole to a guy you can proudly call your friend, and one who will have your back - and honestly; I do like that alot about him... he doesn't run away from combat when scared, he fights with you till the last man...
Least Favorite; Codsworth. Codsworth is a dick. Like. Sure, he's loyal to you and yours forever... but he is a dick when you talk to him, saying you aren't the same man I once knew... I was only in there for 10 minutes Cod. 10. Mins. Sure, you years , but me 10.... I just got out, and comforted you... and you say that. Ugh. Now, he does have some awesome things; such as his flamethrower, buzzsaw and your NAME. Unless you're called Shaun... then am sorry. Really. ut it doesn't make up for the fact he just... judges you the moment you leave and go to Concord. Don't worry he'll love you after some Weapon Modding... trust me! HE LOVES YOU THEN. Ugh.... you could say Strong is the worst due to his... likes and dislikes, but I honestly love Strong for his idle animations with a terminal and his comments, "Milk of human kindness!" it still makes me smirk a bit...

My favorites : Cait, Valentine, McCready. They are entertaining, have good lines and do not The most boring : Codsworth, Pepper, Danse. I don't like the goody-goody ones. The dumbest : Strong. Hey big man, stop hating when I use the terminals to open doors. There are people to kill behind those doors, and we need to open them first.
