Hello, fellow Nukapedians. My name is DisgustingWastelander, and I am once again running for the position of chat moderator.
About me
I started editing in early 2016, contributing with minor sporadic edits. A year later, in March of 2017, I started editing more coherently, and after some guidance from several helpful users, I joined the settlement objects project. Since then I have been editing continuously. I was promoted to patroller of the wiki on March 30th.
Activity in chat
I always keep the chat tab open when editing the wiki, frequently taking part in ongoing conversations. I am generally present in chat several days, every week 14:00 - 24:00 UTC. I have gotten to know a lot of the people who are frequently active in chat, and feel that I know my way around.
In my first request, I said that I rarely took part in conversation, thus being able to step in as a neutral party. This was widely disliked by most voters, many of whom did not even know who I were. I have therefore used the last month to make myself known to the regulars of the chat and let them know who I am. I have gotten to know a few more people, and certainly upped my activity.
I have been promoted to temporary chat moderator five times, and have banned five users for misbehaving.

Because of Distusting's dedication to the chat and his continued activity in chat. He is a very good fit. Therefore he has my faith in a permanent status of chat mod. I hereby endorse this request.

see comments Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin- I rarely vote on user rights requests. I'm going to break that precedent here. I'm voting yes based on one thing and one thing only: I'm often in chat when there's no one else there. When I feel the need for a temp mod and I look around, I look for DW first. But for the time I have been on there, I've seen DW almost all of the time I'm there. He's also helped me out with a few image edits that I needed done. He's very active, which is one of the traits needed to be a good chat moderator. He's helpful, and according to the others, he did well with the temp mod right they gave him. - Because I'm rarely active in chat, I don't know how much weight my vote will have, but I think DW will be a great fit for this, almost every time I log in I see his account logged into chat. I had originally voted first time round to abstain as I wanted to see how Distusting interacted with other users. It's been a tough month for him in that regards as both mine and his normal operating hours have been very quiet this month (if largely) uncovered. There was one incident that I saw that made me say "this is what I was waiting for the first time".
