I entered Vault 21 earlier in my game (like a few hours in). Everything was fine then; now I'm further in the story and wanted to go back to do the Gomorrah quest, and everytime I try to enter Vault 21, the game crashes upon entering the vault. I tried clearing the cache and trying it again but it resulted in the same thing. I really wanna grab the skill book and finish the quest in the vault. Any suggestions??? Clean the disc. Tezzla CannonUser Tezzla Dog.jpg 16:34, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Tried it...still nothing. The disc is brand new though, so it should be clean anyway. CNWitt10 16:35, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

What console are you playing one? Tezzla CannonUser Tezzla Dog.jpg 16:37, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Xbox 360. I figured it was the new patch they just put out, but I've tried entering the vault with and without the patch, and it still crashes. CNWitt10 16:38, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Might be your 360. Tezzla CannonUser Tezzla Dog.jpg 16:40, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

I doubt it. This is a software glitch...not hardware. Honestly, it's pissing me off to the point where I don't care. I'm so disappointed with the amount of game-ruining bugs in NV. This is just the cherry on top. CNWitt10 16:44, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Here is the best way to make sure with your 360 it's the game. Start up no disk in tray clear cache, reboot after a 90 sec wait. Start up the console boot up fallout download update hit start wait for download content to complete, dashboard eject disk, turn off and wait 90 secs. Reboot and play. No joke the game after a few hours does this crap all the time.

I tried all of that...still didn't work. No other place in the game causes an automatic crash like this. As soon as I hit "A" to open the Vault 21 door, the system freezes. I don't understand why; everything was fine until the patch, and now even removing it isn't doing crap. CNWitt10 16:59, October 29, 2010 (UTC)
