So I decided to write a blog post. People can see it (somehow) and have commented on it, but when I go to the Blog tab of my user page, I see nothing below the tab bar! This is the case in both Firefox 4.0 and IE9, so I know it's not a browser issue.
Also, even the Blog tab itself on the tab bar doesn't show up if I switch to the MonoBook theme. The New Wikia Look theme looks squished horizontally on my browser because I run at 1920x1200, which results in only the middle 50% of the screen being used.

- It's working fine for me in the new Wikia skin (Oasis). It might have been a caching issue - sometimes you have to wait a bit for a new post to appear. As for Monobook, unfortunately some of the newer features don't work well with Monobook, and I doubt it will be fixed anytime soon. Ausir(talk) 18:48, April 24, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info. I'm assuming "new Wikia skin (Oasis)" is "New Wikia Look", as I only have a choice between that and "MonoBook". Any chance that "New Wikia Look" or an alternative version could be made to not squish all site content to the middle 50% of my screen? I really, really dislike fix-width themes, yet so many sites seem to be using them now for some silly reason :( As for the blog posts, I posted this after waiting overnight and seeing that my first one still hadn't appeared; now, after writing a second blog post and waiting a few more hours, I can see both posts. I guess maybe a batch processing queue got backed up somewhere? --HunterZ 20:32, April 24, 2011 (UTC)
