# I'm going to vote neutral for the moment. We need people in adinistrative positions to help with the coming game release, but the lack of community interaction in your application makes me antsy. I've been down this road before with other users who have quality editing records, but when they get to the administrative position become a community nightmare (I've seen way too many.) That said, I think your record speaks of you well, and while I'm not comfortable voting yes, I also am not going to vote no on the condition that I see more from you in the community side if you are voted in to receive administrator rights. ---bleep196- (talk) 19:03, October 6, 2018 (UTC)

# I feel kind of bad about voting neutral because you're a good editor and that should be rewarded—but user rights are not rewards. It's the lack of community interaction, as is evident in for example your small amount of talk messages, that makes me unsure if you'd make a good admin. On the other hand, I would not hesitate to vote yes if you had applied for content moderator because this role accurately describes your reasons for wanting more user rights: deleting redundant content and assisting in the Fallout 76 flood.<br /><br />In short, I don't think you're unfit for admin, but you have not proven yourself enough in the community aspect, which is a vital part of being an admin.<br />- FDekker talk 15:18, October 7, 2018 (UTC)

# I Like to see more of a "need" for rights before voting in favour of giving those rights. I'm not convinced they'll be such a need for deletions and wiki bans that warrant an extra admin, when signalling one on discord seems to be effective. If you had a discussions presence then this would be much clearer, but you don't seem to have one. Agent c (talk) 22:13, October 11, 2018 (UTC)

Hello Everyone. My name is Level3Rogue formerly Xa3 (forgot my password after a couple year break, had to make a new account, then recovered old account) and I'm applying for admin. I'd prefer to keep things brief.

Application

Background
  • Joined Nukapedia in 2011 and was active till mid-2013, helped out adding/checking pages for the FNV DLCs.
  • Took long break due to Military Service.
  • Returned to Wiki in early 2017 adopting the Merchant Rpg accumulating just under 4k edits over there. Returned to the Fallout Wiki mid-2017.
  • Promoted to patroller by Sakaratte on July 26th 2018.
  • On Discord I'm only active in the Editorial Bullpen.
  • Nowadays I spend most of my time checking edits.
Why admin?
  • To help out with administrative tasks on the wiki, such as blocking vandals, and deleting redundant content.
  • Assist with the upcoming flood for Fallout 76.

The reason I am posting both of my edit counts is that a requirement to apply for Adminship is 2k edits. Level3Rogue is currently short by 561 edits, but the accounts combined have 5k edits. If an exception cannot be made in this case for the applying account not meeting the requirement I understand.

If someone could CheckUser to confirm that the accounts are the same Owner I would appreciate it, as that is one of the reasons for applying at this time.

In short, I don't think you're unfit for admin, but you have not proven yourself enough in the community aspect, which is a vital part of being an admin.

Excluded Votes

  1. Icon check Morphius1280 I use this Wiki for small hints, tips, and advise every now and then but have no account, so allow me to act as a neutral outsider 3rd person view. Ive seen nothing but great quality content and help coming from this Wiki. Part of that is due to this person. Id like to continue getting nothing but the very best hints and tips and therefore this outsiders vote is yes. Anonymous vote

Just on the check user: as no edit has been made on the Xa3 account since April a CheckUser cannot be completed. However I have supported Rogue on other projects and can confirm that where you find one account, you usually find the other. I'd be comfortable in saying the two are one and the same, but if the edit is made, I'll complete the check. Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin 23:10, October 5, 2018 (UTC)

Just got off work, didn't think about the time issue with last logged in, but have made 3 edits to facilitate the check. Xa3MysteriousStranger 03:40, October 6, 2018 (UTC)

Which account are you asking for Admin with? Since I see that you are able to log on with Xa3 again. That account would be more qualified via edits. Level 3 is short by almost 1k edits as it's based on Article edits and not over all edits. If we're being strict with the guidelines at least. Honestly don't see a problem with it since it's the same person, but meh rules. Rebel427 ~ I'll be your huckleberry 19:45, October 6, 2018 (UTC)
As bans apply to the user, not the account, I have no issues in saying the same should apply to edits. I have no opinions on this request in specific at this stage. Agent c (talk) 20:03, October 6, 2018 (UTC)

@Rebel Level3Rogue is applying as that is the account I am using now, and that is the account granted Patroller rights. Level3Rogue (talk) 03:39, October 7, 2018 (UTC)

Question

I've just had a read through your applications and your intentions for this vote are to block vandals and revert vandalism. We already have 4/5 admins that can do that and the coverage from my observations is that it is generally pretty good. Further to that, we have abuse filters that catch a good amount of suspect and malicious edits before they land on the pages (blocking users where it is very black and white).

Further to this, you have said you want to assist with the incoming Fallout 76, yet you have not stated how you wish to this.

What exactly are you bringing to the table? Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin 14:08, October 7, 2018 (UTC)

With the release of the Beta and the full game, it's expected to have an influx in editors and edits, good and bad. Currently, with the tools I have, I can only mark pages and wait for someone else. I can still format all the new content and check the pages as they come, but won't be able to help with the spam and the malicious editors, other than asking someone else to step in, without having the tools to assist in this.
