Just something thats caused a bit of chatter over on the Bethsoft forums; looking at the map pic attached to this page: http://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Core_Region
Whilst we think the map is pretty darned cool, its clearly full of conjecture and a more canon-based map should replace it and I was thinking of doing same. However I was wondering if folks think this might be something that might be worthy of a project, say a map for each of the core games area, a map for major played regions, and perhaps a ConUS map.
Perhaps something without drawn borders, but townships marked in the colour of their last known (or likely) faction groupings.
Was also wondering if the wiki supports those "Image maps" where you can click on a specific part of the map as a link, so in a core region map for example you could click on the vault city marker and it would take you to vault city. Might be nice to have something like that on the Core Region page.

- The Vault does support image maps, example 188 trading post on the Pip-Boy map in the infobox, it has popup names for all the icons and links to that page if clicked. As for the map itself, that others more up on canon can answer for you. 19:44, June 21, 2011 (UTC)
