Footlockers are containers in Fallout: New Vegas.
Background[]
Commonly found throughout the wasteland, these containers are most often found as silver metal boxes, mainly used for personal storage. Some footlockers instead use the Enclave crate model.
Usually found unlocked, footlockers hold a variety of objects, including bottle caps, ammunition, armor, clothing, and Stealth Boys. If locked, the lock difficulties range from Very Easy to Very Hard. Most can be used to safely store items.
Special variants[]
Personal footlockers[]
Personal footlockers can be found in the same places as regular footlockers. Most of the time (but not always), footlockers are named "personal" because it contains special loot, or belongs to a special non-player character.
Brotherhood footlockers[]
These footlockers use the Enclave crate model. They are used by the Brotherhood of Steel as personal storage containers, containing caps, energy ammunition, and a chance for a laser pistol.
One such footlocker is owned by former Brotherhood elder Elijah. It contains Father Elijah's robes.
Enclave footlocker[]
This footlocker uses the Enclave crate model. It belongs to Cannibal Johnson, an Enclave remnant. It contains a leveled amount of caps at a 75% chance, a leveled amount of energy ammunition (guaranteed), and up to three cigarettes, up to five packs of cigarettes, and one carton of cigarettes (25% chance per count per item).
