The food processor is a constructible piece of machinery for food processing added in the Fallout 4 add-on Contraptions Workshop.
Characteristics
The food processor can create pre-War quality food from crafting components and basic consumables. Freshly-manufactured food has better stats than the standard present-day irradiated versions, often using the same stats as the preserved pre-War versions of the foods. This doesn't work in survival mode however.
For example: Blamco Brand Mac and Cheese is worth 10 caps, heals 20 HP, and gives 6 rads in its standard present-day irradiated version, but is worth 15 caps, heals 40 hp, and gives no rads for the freshly-manufactured (or preserved pre-war) version.
The bottlecap value of freshly-manufactured food is higher than the present-day irradiated versions, but it is unlikely to result in an item worth more than the components you used to manufacture it. Blamco Brand Mac and Cheese requires 1 carrot, 1 purified water, 1 razorgrain, and 1 plastic, for a component total value of 29 but a manufactured value of only 15.
