Nuked flora[]

Main article: Blast zone

In Fallout 76, flora in nuked zones mutate into variants, from which different types of raw flux can be harvested. The blast zone's mutating effect on flora can often extend outside of the blast radius and can persist after the radiation has cleared.

Nuked flora
Raw crimson flux
Raw cobalt flux
Raw fluorescent flux
Raw violet flux
Raw yellowcake flux

Notes[]

The Overgrown, a type of ambulatory mutants from the Pine Barrens near Atlantic City, New Jersey, are described as being mutated flora.[53] However, their actual origins are unclear, and they display traits of both animals and plants.[54]

Brailee Ewers: "Oh, certainly! Close the front gate when you leave and mind my begonia garden... I just planted them."

  2. Black-Eyed Susan: "Oh, good day! Have you come to admire my flowers? It's a lovely meadow, isn't it? Where are my manners? Here I am talking about this silly meadow, and I haven't even told you my name! They call me Black-Eyed Susan. You know, like the flower? Flowers tend to be my specialty. I arrange them into beautiful bouquets, you see."

Black-Eyed Susan: "Now that's an easy one! I need Carnal Weepers, Crystalcups, and Radlilies. Not a soot flower more! Carnal Weepers are bright red and look almost like a bleeding, gaping maw. Morbidly delightful! If you've ever seen a tulip, then you know what a Crystalcup is shaped like. Of course, Crystalcups have their distinctive translucent blue color! As for the Radlilies...well, imagine a lily flower that's been drawn all over with a yellow highlighter!"

  17. Lone Wanderer: "The taste... I could never get used to it."
Sierra Petrovita: "No no no! You're mistaken! The flavor is the essence of seventeen different fruits mixed in just the right proportion to give the beverage that delicious taste. In fact, in the Great Passion Fruit Famine of 2044, people actually noticed the taste difference when the flavor was changed!"

Moira Brown: "Oh, you're a peach! Or, at least, some sort of hardy fruit that grows in the savagely irradiated mockery of agriculture we have nowadays. Now, 200 rads should be enough for basic sickness, but if you can get 600 or more rads, my tests will be even more accurate.
