The Flatwoods lookout is a location in the Forest region of Appalachia in 2103.[1]

Background

This lookout and its surrounding cabins were previously occupied by Puppet Face, a wastelander and the owner of Cheswick. Puppet Face was in search of Scooter, a friend of theirs that had gone missing. Puppet Face expressed a desire to return to the Wixon homestead, where they had left Cheswick, but their eventual fate is unknown.[2] By 2103, the area of lookout is occupied by four Settlers.

Layout

This tower contains a locked explosives crate at its base. There are several cabins nearby, one of which contains an acoustic guitar and the note Come back to us.

Notable loot

  • Come back to us - Note, found in a cabin nearby.
  • Potential recipe - On a picnic table near the lookout tower.

Notes

Like other lookouts in Appalachia, "survey area" can be used to find unidentified areas on the map. For example, the isolated cabin and Alpine River Cabins can be marked here. These locations will then be revealed on the map, but they still have to be traveled to on foot to enable fast travel.

Appearances

The Flatwoods lookout appears only in Fallout 76.
