Found throughout Appalachia in small groups, radiation from the Great War mutated certain fireflies into far larger versions.

Fireflies are enlarged, hawk-sized forms of the tiny pre-War insects. They maintain most of the pre-War beetle's body structure, but have grown more exaggerated legs and abdomen. Fireflies have developed massive, significantly bloated versions of their normally smooth luminescent abdomen.
Gameplay attributes
Although appearing as enemies, fireflies are completely non-hostile and run away from hostile creatures. They have little health and no means to damage attackers.
