The Fiend helmet is a piece of armor in Fallout: New Vegas and the graphic novel All Roads.
Characteristics
Fiend helmets are made of a basic leather helmet, with a young bighorner's skull affixed to the top for decoration. The skull has a red swirl on it, setting it apart from any other helmets in the Mojave Wasteland. It provides a damage threshold of 1 as well as a bonus of +1 to Perception. It can be repaired with other types of Fiend helmets (Fiend warrior helmet, Fiend battle helmet).
- All Roads
The above mentioned distinction is used by Benny to properly identify the threat at the Tribal village, due to a helmet such as this lying on the ground near the first Burned body.
