The festering spear is a throwing and melee weapon in Fallout Tactics.
Characteristics
The blade of this spear has been exposed to poisonous substances and bacteria found in animal remains. The result of an attack from this weapon is an undetermined amount of poisoning damage. Its damage is on par with a standard spear, and what it lacks in reliability for damage is made up in the debilitating poisoning effect. It can be used for normal melee attacks or as a thrown weapon.

This kind of spear is carried by members of the Whachutu tribe in Peoria.
