Fasnacht residue analysis can be one of three paper notes in the Fallout 76 update Wild Appalachia.

The note is received from the Convivial Historian in Helvetia when turning in antique steins during the Fasnacht Day event:
- The 'Excellent' quality residue analysis note is obtained by turning in only porcelain steins.
- The 'Acceptable' quality residue analysis note is obtained by turning in a mixture of porcelain steins, metal beer steins and/or wooden beer steins.
- The 'Poor' quality residue analysis note is obtained by turning in only metal beer steins and/or wooden beer steins.
