Background

Farrel is Cornelius's best friend for 30 or 40 years, and he is accused with stealing his best friend's gold pocket watch.

When asked what he does around Modoc, Farrel says he "mostly putters around the garden trying to make those damned plants grow without water".

Due to the accusations Farrel doesn't have the best reputation in Modoc, if Miria is asked about Farrel, she will say that its highly possible that Farrel stole the watch, seeing as he "fits the poor category".

When he is asked about the gold pocket watch during Cornelius has lost his gold pocket watch. Find it and return it to him, Farrel himself will claim that his tools were stolen and will ask the Chosen One to help him find the gold pocket watch.
