There is a Fort Farragut in another Bethesda game, Oblivion. This may be a quiet injoke.

In this station you will find Raiders, Super Mutants and Hunters outside, also one or two centaurs.

The hunters may or not may act hostile towards you, you can get from their bodies strange meat, leather armors and hunting rifles, they also consider wastelanders their meat, enjoying some Nuka Cola or smoking cigarrettes after the kill.

if you walk into the main avenue at the side of the station you will find a group of supermutants, about 5 to 8, they have a good quantity of ammo and stimpaks, they carry also some meat and mutilated organs. if you walk down the avenue in front of the station, and getting far from the station you will find some Radroaches and a couple of Centaurs, a few meters from there you will find an Scavenger to trade with.
