We are creating the ultimate guide to the Fallout series, and you can help!

Introduction
Fallout is a franchise of post-apocalyptic computer role-playing games created by Interplay Entertainment. Originally envisioned as a sequel to Wasteland using Steve Jackson's GURPS, Fallout eventually matured into something entirely its own: A mature post-nuclear setting with a retro-futuristic aesthetic, powered by the home-brewed SPECIAL system. Its unique visual identity draws on countless sources, from 1930s Art Deco, through 1950s Americana, to 80s and 90s classics like Mad Max or City of Lost Children.

The series encompasses six role-playing titles in the series (Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76) and several spin-offs, including a squad-based tactical combat game (Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel), an action RPG dungeon-crawler for PlayStation 2 and Xbox (Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel), a vault simulation game (Fallout Shelter), and several tabletop games (Fallout: The Board Game, Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, Fallout: Wasteland Warfare Roleplaying Game, and the discontinued Fallout Warfare).

Leon
Leonard Boyarsky is one of the original masterminds behind the Fallout world and the first Fallout game. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Art Center College of Design, he as a freelance artist in 1992. Some time later he was hired as a cleanup artist at Interplay, where later he became the lead artist on Stonekeep. Then he became the lead artist/art director on the GURPS project that later became Fallout. Aside from guiding the art on the project, together with Jason Anderson, Tim Cain, Scott Campbell and Chris Taylor he oversaw the direction and feel of the game. He left Interplay after helping to complete the initial design for Fallout 2 and, together with Cain and Anderson, was a founder of Troika Games.

Wiki news
As many of this wiki's editors and readers are already aware of, Nukapedia and The Vault, two of the largest and best Fallout resources out there, have decided to merge, and as such, the collective community is still in the large-scale process of taking the vast amount of information both of our communities had, and merging it all into a single resource.
