Under construction (Katy Webb)
This page is currently undergoing restructuring. It may be edited frequently and some items may appear differently.
Lessons take about 10-15 minutes to read, show detailed examples, and end with a quiz (not to worry, wastelander - it's all open book). When all the lessons are complete, future chaplains should have a firm grasp on their toolset and be ready for practical application. In addition, these future chaplains will earn a Vault-Tec certified diploma and a place of honor among their peers in the esteemed Vault Academy Graduation Hall, as well as earn eligibility for a chaplain (chat moderator) role.
My name is Katy Webb and I am ecstatic to help you prepare for your future role as a vault chaplain! I've been an active member of the community since late 2020 and a chat moderator since June 2021. I'm also a bureaucrat on the Fallout Roleplaying and Fanon Wiki and have directly involved in helping cease raids, trolls, and heated arguments on the Nukapedia discord server, as well as been the only active chat mod on multiple occasions. In real life, I am an x-ray technologist and student teacher with all my students passing with flying colors - in other words, I'm confident I can set you up for success here in our little vault!During your training, we'll be interacting frequently through both talk pages and Nukapedia Discord (Katy Webb#2077). Feel free to direct message or ping me anytime and know you can ask me all the questions you like. I adore answering questions and helping you to the best of my ability!
The curriculum for the chat moderator program is below. Each lesson has an associated quiz. Remember to use your own answer recording page. If you have any questions, as always, please feel free to ask.
You will find all the lessons below if you would like to dive in or just take a look. In any case, on behalf of all of us here at Nukapedia and the Vault Academy, welcome! We're excited to have you!
