The following are in no specific order.

Any Users wishing for their name to be added or removed from this list, should contact myself.

UserboxesEdit

Userboxes come in a large variety of different messages, colours and with a wide variety of images with them. Here at Nukapedia we have put forth the time, and a large amount of effort into making already made Userboxes and converting them into templates for ease of use. Of course, you are always free to make your own userboxes. Userbox also can be displaced in a wide variety of ways. Userboxes can post them freely by themselves, posting them using Template:Userboxes or posting them using Template:Navbox.

Pre-Made UserboxesEdit

The following are all the pre-made userboxes here at Nukapedia. To add the userbox, just copy the code - including the and - that has the and around them.

Real Life UserboxesEdit

These only repersent the Pre Made userboxes related to real life. If you wish for another, please again feel free to add it yourself, and if you need any help, feel free to contact myself.

And of course you want to showcase which system you play on also.

Game UserboxesEdit

We also have wide variety of Userboxes related to the games within the Fallout Series as well.

Miscellaneous UserboxesEdit

There are also a wide variety of miscellaneous Userboxes that are loosely related to the games, and some aren't related at all. You're free to add these userboxes as well.

Making your own UserboxesEdit

Along with our pre-made userboxes, you are also free to create your own, personalized userboxes. Now there are many different parameters that you can alter when creating personal userboxes. I will only be covering some simplistic and more minimal parameters, but if you wish to check out the full possible extent of userboxes, feel free to check out this page.

Now, the main things that need to known about making personal userboxes is that you can do always anything to a userbox. But, first you must know the minimal need for a userbox.

Renders:

Now, that is the base to every userbox, but we can add to this.

Renders:

WikiThis user loves Nukapedia.

Now that is better but there is still much more that could be added. How about some colours?

Renders:

WikiThis user loves Nukapedia.

So as can be seen, the bg represents the text's background colour and left bg represents the left image's background colour. Note that the colours that can be used can either be real name of colours or the HMTL colour codes, as seen on this page. I think we can still add a little more to our userboxes thought.

Renders:

WikiThis user loves Nukapedia.Tactics sunbeam gattling laser

You now know how to create a personalized userbox anyway you want. But there is much more that can be done to userboxes, including changing size and even more colour costimization. All this extra information can be found here.

Useful Templates and CodeEdit

There are a wide variety of code and templates that can be applied to user pages to give them that little extra something when they are nearly complete. Such examples are as follows.

HeadingsEdit

Headings are one of the easiest pieces of wiki code to learn and apply in a number of different ways. Headings very simply supply new Headings giving a more clean and organized look. There are a number of different sized Headings you can use as well. For example:

Heading
Renders:

Heading

Heading
Renders:

Heading

Heading
Renders:

Heading

Heading
Renders:

Heading

Heading
Renders:

Heading

Heading
Renders:

Heading

As you can see, Headings get smaller and smaller the more equal signs added to Heading up to six equal signs on both sides. It is to be noted you need the same number of equal signs on each side for the text to function properly.

clearEdit

Now the clear template can be a very useful tool well putting together one's profile. As to what exactly the clear template does is somewhat difficult to explain but in short, it forces anything above the template to fully finish before any text below the template begins. It may be best to see this template in action.

No clear TemplateEdit

WikiThis User understands the use of the clear Template.
WikiThis User loves sharing his knowledge of minor code and templates with others.

Something about me!

Hello my names John Smith. I live in London, England and have for 5 years. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer and enjoying a good time with many in chat. Hope to see everybody around the wiki and to have a blast here with you all!

Now as you can see, the text began right after the Userboxes on the same line leaving the text scatter when the new line of text under the userboxes begin. Now lets see when we include use of the clear Template.

Use of clear TemplateEdit

As you can see using the Clear Template forced the text to start only when it had a full line to span, leaving a much more easy to follow paragraph.

<br> </br>Edit

The <br> and </br> wiki markup codes can be very important when it comes to a number of things on ones profile such as to do lists and achievement lists. Technically speaking, the <br> and </br> wiki markup codes force a line break and are important to know because of the fact that regular line breaks do not work on the wiki here. Again, I think it would be best if we say this in action. It should be noted, that this is the only case where not both the opening codes and closing codes are needed for them to function correctly.

No <br> or </br>Edit

To Do List

Cut the grass
Walk the dog
Make a how to on user profiles
Spend some time in chat
Make that RP character
World domination

Renders:

As mentioned, regular line breaks just won't work here on the wiki.

With <br> or </br>Edit

To Do List

Cut the grass <br>
Walk the dog <br>
Make a how to on user profiles <br>
Spend some time in chat <br>
Make that RP character <br>
World domination <br>

Renders:

To Do List

Cut the grass
Walk the dog
Make a how to on user profiles
Spend some time in chat
Make that RP character
World domination

Once again, as you can see the use of <br> or </br> can come in handy well creating ones user page. Then again, you could also list by...
* Cut the grass
* Walk the dog
* Make a how to on user profiles
* Spend some time in chat
* Make that RP character
* World domination

Renders:

 • Cut the grass
 • Walk the dog
 • Make a how to on user profiles
 • Spend some time in chat
 • Make that RP character
 • World domination

<center> </center>Edit

The <center> and </center> wiki markup codes are a necessity when creating ones user page. They practically, center any content found within the <center> to </center> codes. Now as for content that can be ordered by the <center> and </center> wiki markup codes? This includes, but is not limited to:

 • Regular text
 • Certain Templates
 • Images
 • Tables
 • Etc.

To properly use the <center> and </center> wiki markup codes just simply place <center> in-front of all content you you want centered and </center> after all content that you wish to be centered. Such as seen below:

<center>
Roses are red <br>
Violets are blue <br>
and I love Chocolate! <br>
</center>

Renders:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
and I love Chocolate!

It would be good to note that most templates have secondary parameters within their parameters relation to location on the page, such as centering. Sadly the only 2 templates, text or other wise that I know of can not be centered in any way are Infoboxes and Userboxes, but it should only be noted this is free floating Userboxes that can not be centered. With non-free floating Userboxes the templates that they are placed in do indeed have the ability to be centered.

QuotationEdit

Moving on to the Quotation template, this template can be very important for more role playing-est users. For example, this template can be used to showcase a quote that either your Fallout character, or your favourite character from the actual Fallout series. Or hey, maybe just a cool quote your grandfather told you when you were young and you want to share it here with everybody else. You can do that! And well you're at it, why not through a bunch of different quotes together and have them rotate on their own by using Template:Rotating_content? The possibilities on the site really are endless. But back to the Quotation template. This template is fairly easy to understand. All you need to know is to start with "" and your done. Shall we see it in action?

Who are you, that do not know your history?
Who are you, that do not know your history?Ulysses

As you can also see, you are able to add links right inside the quote.

InfoboxesEdit

In our articles here at Nukapedia have a large variety of infoboxes that we use to best represent our data. If you don't know about/understand infoboxes, and plan to spend some time on at least one wiki, whether it be Nukapedia or not, you best learn about infoboxes because I can tell you right now, every wiki uses infoboxes in one fashion or another. Now, many users here have turned to using a specific type of infobox on their userpages. This is the infobox character. If after the following explanation you still aren't fully sure of the proper use of a character infoboxes, please either see the above page, or message myself. Now when it comes to infoboxes of any kind, there are a large variety of different parameters that can be used and fill in. Let's see some examples shall we?

The following is the actual Character Infobox that can be found on my very own userpage.

As you can see, there are a variety of parameters available within the Character Infobox, and you can also see that infoxboxes take a number of other wiki mark up codes and secondary templates inside of them.

Copy/PasteEdit

What follows is the shell to the Character Infobox and it would be easiest for one to simply copy the following code and input the proper information as the see fit for their userpages.

You now have all the information you need to fully understand and properly use Character Infoboxes not only in concern with your userpages, but our own Character Infoboxes found within our articles here on Nukapedia.

MusicEdit

Now, this is going to be the last section we will be covering today, but know, there is much more you could add to your profile. And feel free to, but again, if you ever need help with anything concerning your profile, feel free to leave myself a message and I'd gladly help you out. Anyways, back to how to add music to your profile. Adding music involves using YoutubePlayer template and a few other things before actually getting to adding the template to your User page. You need:

 1. Access to Youtube
 2. The music you wish to have on your User page to be available on Youtube
 3. A Youtube account that would allow you to create Youtube playlists

Now we will get back to the process of adding music, but let us first look at the actual template itself. Lets go parameter by parameter.

If this parameter is defined to 0 the audio player will be visual on your profile. Alternatively, if this parameter is defined to 1 the audio player will not be visual on your profile. Note that if you do not define this parameter it will default to 0.

So finally after all that you should have a completed template filled in with all the correct parameters like one of the following ones.

ConclusionEdit

Now you have everything you need to go forth, and create yourself a great profile page that I promise you can be proud of. But know, that there is much more you can add, so if you ever want to add more, just message me and I'd love to help you. I've hope you've learned a lot today and I hope you will come to do a lot for our wiki here. Thank you for taking the time to read this today, and I hope you have a nice rest of your day.
