Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is an upcoming re-release of Fallout 4, published by Bethesda Softworks to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the game's original release. It will be released alongside the Creations system and Verified Creator Program for Fallout 4. The Anniversary Edition will release on November 10, 2025 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5, and PC, and 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2.
For those who already own Fallout 4, the Anniversary Edition Upgrade and Creations Bundle packs will be available on all platforms; the former includes the game's add-ons and all 150+ pieces of Creation Club content, while the latter contains just the Creation Club content and not the add-ons. Although not yet explicitly stated, the differences between these two bundles indicate they will be paid upgrades.[1] Gaming news sources have indicated that while the Creations and Verified Creator Program will be implemented as an update to Fallout 4 independent of the Anniversary Edition, these upgrade packs and the Anniversary Edition itself are paid releases.[2][3]
Features[]
The Anniversary Edition includes the base game and the six major add-ons, including Automatron, Far Harbor and Nuka-World, as well as the Workshop add-ons Wasteland Workshop, Contraptions Workshop and Vault-Tec Workshop. It also bundles 150 pieces of Creation Club content, including ones that were already available, as well as some new, previously unreleased content.
The Anniversary Edition will launch alongside the Creations system and the Verified Creator Program for Fallout 4, replacing the original Creation Club mechanic. Creations includes paid mods by both professional developers and fans. Insider Gaming has reported the Anniversary Edition will not be required to access the new Creations content, and will be added through an update to Fallout 4, although it will also be implemented in the Anniversary Edition.[2][3]
Per GameSpot, "Game Pass and PlayStation Plus subscribers will also have the option to access the DLC and Creations content;"[4] although not explicitly indicated, this may refer to Game Pass and PlayStation Plus subscribers having access to the previously-mentioned upgrade packs.
