The teaser trailer was released on February 4, 2010. It shows a working Securitron called Victor among the debris digging up the Courier, then the camera backs up to show the lights of the New Vegas Strip itself, and an NCR Veteran Ranger looking at the city, standing next to an NCR flag. The song "Blue Moon" sung by Frank Sinatra plays in the background. As the screen fades to black, the narration by Ron Perlman, saying "War. War never changes" starts, then the Fallout: New Vegas sign comes up, and says "Fall 2010."
It is similar to the Fallout 3 teaser: It starts out with music playing, with the camera zoomed in on the music source, then slowly pans out to reveal the wasteland and then an unexplained figure is shown, who then turns to look at the camera.
E3 2010 trailer[]
The Fallout: New Vegas E3 trailer was released on June 12, 2010. It features the song Jingle, Jangle, Jingle by Kay Kyser. It showcases some new weapons, armor and other items as well as ED-E. This trailer shows why ED-E is not working and needs repairing before it can become your companion. The trailer also shows ED-E on its journey from Adams Air Force Base explained in ED-E My Love.
UK TV advertisement[]
This ad was shown in the UK prior to the release of Fallout: New Vegas. While most of the footage is copied from the E3 trailer, several new pieces of footage were added, along with the song "Orange Colored Sky" playing in the background of the video.
