Primary statisticsEdit

SPECIAL is an acronym of Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck. While these are the seven basic attributes of every character in the game, the player can only choose between characters with fixed primary statistics.


In Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, "skills" work like perks in other Fallout games and they are special elements of the level up system. At each level up, a character receives several "skill points" (the number of which depends on the level) which can then be assigned to the skills available for the particular character. Some skills can only be acquired once the character has reached a certain level.
